Walk in Greensboro/Moses Cone

A friend and colleague and I will be taking ten of our students to Greensboro NC tomorrow to participate in a 5K walk/run to benefit the mammography scholarship program.

This will be my first--looking forward to it.

Thanks Kim, we bundled up and got wet too, but it was a great day. I'm really proud of our students, they contributed $1000 from their weekly allowance in support of the cause and 10 girls participated, with many more wanting to go that we weren't able to take. What an uplifting experience! More importantly, these girls will be more aware and forearmed with knowledge.
