I sat in on the teleconference hosted by Dr. Dennis Slamon today and would highly recommend it to others. It will be repeated today, tomorrow and next week.

BC patients who were in the adjuvant trials should also attend as it may alter their outlook of continuing Herceptin while still in remission.

What was interesting was that cardiotoxicity from A/C is usually permanent but is reversable when caused by Herceptin, but recovery may take longer than previously thought.

Joe,

I will not be able to attend any of the teleconferences, but would be very interest in information, especially in light of your suggestion that "it may alter their outlook of continuing Herceptin while still in remission." I am continuing on Herceptin in the adjuvant setting while in remission.

Is there another way to access the information from the teleconference?
