I had my mammo today and everything was okay. That was such a relief to get that done and over with. Sept 7 will be 2 years from my surgery and I can't wait!

Dear Juanita,
It is such huge relief to know that worrisome test is negative and over for at least 6 months. Thank you for sharing your good news!

How often are all of you getting mammograms now that you have had her2+ breast cancer? My surgeon said to me that he believes more than yearly is not necessary.

My surgeon and onc thought that once a year was enough. But my rads onc thought it should be every 6 months. They confabbed and I go once a year. Had a good check-up with the rads onc today and he was impressed except for my tan. Said I was undoing everything he'd worked on.

glad you had a good report from the doctor but please be careful with sun exposure.... we all know it looks great but is bad for us. thanks for your input on the frequency of mammos.
