Herceptin Brain - Lost a week

This morning the radiation nurses gave me the happy news that I have only 8 treatments left. I had them check my records, because I was sure I had 20 radiation treatments, not 25. Nope. They were right. I'm thrilled to have only 8 left, but where did my week go? People talk about losing keys and wallets due to Herceptin brain. Has anyone else lost a week?

Also had a muga scan and went up 3 points. Good news. My baseline was 70. It dropped to 59, which upset me a lot. Now it's at 62. People on this board told me mugas can be undependable. Happy to say YES!!

MJo, I have lost my keys, hair brush, you name it. But I CAN'T think of a BETTER thing to lose then a week of Rads. (It must be the old saying, "Time flies when your having fun".) LOL (Kidding of course.)

That MUST of been GREAT to find out you only had 8 left. Yeah!

Hope it goes by quickly for you.

Congrats on rads almost done. Your score could be what it is, going up. After finishing chemo, mine went up better than ever while on Herceptin. So, things are working great. It's good yo have good news. BB

THanks to all for the encouragement. Radiation does seem to have gone fast. That's good. But I'm also five weeks older in the blink of an eye. Not so good.
