My breasts are very soft, swishy and much saggier now and I was wondering if this is normal and why the rapid change? I was diagnosed in November of 2005, went through a lumpectomy, 6 rounds of dose dense Taxol and radiation. I am now on Tamoxifen. I now am in chemo pause and I have lost 15 pounds. Before Diagnosis I had very firm dense breasts for my age and now they are very soft, especially the good beast. The one that went though radiation and had the cancer is firmer than the other. I know there are worse to worry about, but was curious as to see if others noticed the same change and what caused it.

it is the tomaxifen removing th estrogen from your breats that has caused the reduction. I lost almost a half of a cup size within two weeks of starting tamoxifen - sugeon said perfectly normla and in fact that is what they are striving for.
Hope this helps

This is exactly the way I am. You are describing me. Don't worry.

I was just noticing the same thing about my good breast today. My diagnostic information is almost exactly the same as yours except my tumor was a bit smaller. I finished 4AC and am now doing the taxol. I haven't started tamoxifen. previously, i had dense, lumpy breasts and now the one I have is, well, squishy. I was a bit disheartened because my saline implant on the other side is now harder than the other breast and I was musing that I wished I had gotten a double mast. But then again, I'll get used to it.
