I personally know how much pain Lyn's family will endure and my message to them is, lyn will always be a part of you, grieving is not pushing her out, it's accepting her spirit.
I truly wish that this hadn't happened and will mourn her loss.

I'm so sorry for Lyn and her family. She had such a wit about her that even though so many of her postings were informative and helpful, I couldn't help but smile as I read through many of them. I love humor and I think I'll miss this trait the most regarding Lyn.

Lyn has been a strong and steady presence in this group from the very early days; she was one of the first to answer my first post back in 2001. She never hesitated to speak her mind and always gave heartfelt, honest advice. I will miss her dearly. My love and prayers go out to her family.

First of all I want to tell Lyn's family how sorry I am. She was an incredible woman, and it must be really hard for those close to her. I just arrived home from work and this news was the first thing I read. Somehow we hope for a miracle, and again this was not to be. Nevertheless, Lyn fought to the end; she even was able to predict when the end was. She had so much humor. I always looked forward to reading her stories, for they were stories. I will miss her. Again, my condolences to her family and friends.

My sincere sympathy to Lyn, her family and to all of us here who cared for her. She truly was a living legend and an inspiration in the fight of this horrible disease which she fought with dignity, humour and personal strength. I am so sad tonight to hear of her passing and will miss her posts, her insights and her laughter. God bless Lyn in heaven.

No doubt you have read the many messages on our website on Lyn's passing. We all feel that a shining light has suddenly been extinguished. I for one am personally saddened by her death and feel like the soul of our website has been ripped out.
Lyn, was one of our very first members on our website and certainly the first one from outside of the US. She has provided many newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with immeasurable inspiration. I just reposted an "autobiography" that Lyn wrote less than a month ago.
I am still amazed at how a person faced with so much adversity could continue of with such bright spirits and wonderful attitude. She also provided much amusement to us with her unique perspective on just about everything. I frequently mentioned her to the many research scientists and medical oncologists that we met at various breast cancer meetings.
Surely she is in heaven with her beloved father sipping essiac tea and sharing many fond memories. Heaven has a special place for people like both of them. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies, to her husband, sisters and their families.
If it is not too much trouble, could you send us a link to her obituary and also a picture of her so that we may post it on our website.
We also wish to make a donation in her memory. Please reply where you feel it will do the most good.
Hugs and Warmest Regards
Joe and Christine
