Herceptin and mets?

Did anyone get mets while on herceptin? then what? How long do you have between mets in general?

I had progression of mets while on Herceptin...I was placed on it for mets to the lymph nodes in the collarbone area, after 2 1/2 years on Herceptin, they added Xeloda for more lymph nodes in the same area. I still remain on Herceptin every 3 weeks.

After 6 mos of wkly Herceptin and Navelbine, the 10 tumors in my lungs were reduced to barely visible and the large tumors on my sternum appeared to be erased. Two months later, while on Herceptin alone, my entire sternum and manubrium were greatly involved. This was treated with a month of radiation and seemed to resolve the bone mets. However, two new tumors appeared on my lungs so I went back on Navelbine along with the continuing Herceptin.
