Genetic Testing

Hi. I recently had the test done for the BRCA gene. I have breast and ovarian cancer on both sides of my family. I will receive the test results back in about a week and a half. Has anyone gone through this, been positive and opted to have a double masectomy? Thanks!

I had the test and was neg. A good resource for BRCA + is FORCE.
