It was a nice birthday. We had extended the celebration by going down to Palm Springs later in the week for a few days. First time there, and the weather was just perfect -- blue skies in 80's degrees.

As far as PET scan goes, all is clear except the same very tiny lung nodule (basically unchanged, maybe very slight increase by just .1 mm) and the same ole supraclavicular nodes. No uptake activity in the brain. Surprising.

Still on Xeloda. H/F syndrome still very mild. Weaning off on Decadron. Brain MRI follow-up next month.

Feeling good so far. No headaches. No pains anywhere.

Thanks again for your support -- very, VERY valuable to me, more than you'd ever know!!!!

Hey Lady -
Your PET report sounds good to me, even though those pesky lymph nodes are still showing up.
Getting off Decadron sounds real good as well. Maybe the Xeloda is getting through the blood-brain-barrier? Can always hope so.

Glad you took the few extra days and had a change of scene. That in itself can do wonders. Reducing stress and enjoying nice weather are great leads that we all should follow.
