Hi, I live in Australia and I have what is called skin mets they are on my chest wall and look like little nodules. I am told they grow in the lymphatic vessels.
I have been having maintenance chemo for many years. At present I have Herceptin/Taxol on a weekly basis. Ann

Ann,
Are you talking about skin mets? Or nodules on your chest wall? Do they continue to grow, or stop at a certan point? I am interested in what they look and feel like. Thank you. You can send me a personal message if you like. thanks again. k

Hi Kristen,
I too have nodules on my chest wall. I don't know if these are soft tissue mets or what. I have never been told that they are mets. I have a tumour in my left breast (a recurrence/new primary after being diagnosed with bc in my right breast in 2003) and have skin involvement from that. My onc says it is nodules in the lymphatic system but not mets. My nodules look like pimples on my chest. They are dark red in colour and are in little clusters. I am due to start Herceptin next week. I had chemo which cleared up some of the skin and don't know now whether the pimples are just scars left over or whether they are still active. You can send me a private message if you'd rather chat in private.
love
Sue
