seeing my onc next week

Hi all. I don't post alot but I do check in and learn so much from you all thank you. Well it is time for my 6 month checkup I am 18 months out of treatment I was stage 1 her2+++ erpr+ I had alumpectomy,4A/c and rads.at the time feb 2004 I wasn't offered hercepton and at my last visit july2005 my onc said he would not recomend I start because I was doing ok and I was so far from original chemo. My worry now is that a reoccurance will be missed. I was wondering what tests I should be asking for? I have been having pain in my ear(rads side) and down the front of my neck, my primarycare has treated it like swimmers ear with drops and nasal spray this isn't helping. any thoughts? thanks leslie

My onc wanted to check my neck and so had me get a catscan of that area. Perhaps this is the sort of thing that would be done to check things out. I do know that every sympton I have of any kind becomes a cancer sympton to me. My doctor told me that if I have any symptoms that last more than a couple of weeks or get worse, I should contact him.
