Menstrual Cycle

Hi everyone. I just finished 4 rounds of AC and will begin Taxol and Hercpetin in two weeks. I was told that my period was probaby gone for good during this time, but low and behold I just got it. I am 36 and had a regular cycle before this. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this. Thanks!

I got my period back 6 months after I ended my last Taxol - just like normal (I ended up getting my ovaries removed for a suspious cyst that ended up being nothing. The surgery was ironically scheduled 2 weeks after the return of my menses and I was about to ovulate so everything was working well and I was going to get my period again right on schedule). I am 10 years older than you but had not started going through the change before chemo and I bounced right back in (although it took me alittle longer than you).

I too only skipped two periods during 4 AC, and 4 taxol. I'am 34 and er+/pr+. Started tamoxifen two months ago, and Im still regular. I have asked about removing the ovaries, but onc. wants to wait.
