I have been excluded for over six months now because 1)I am not AL-A Pos., 2) I have had two recurrances (now resolved) and 3) I was on Herceptin.
I have what is considered stable bone disease. I got letter, scans, ect. but alas, I did not fit in the right catagories. Now I am told if I can get another documentation on stable disease, I can be on Herceptin, and not ALA_A Pos.
This is a vaccine study that I believe is DNA rather than Plasmid-based. Correct me if I'm wrong. However, several DR.'s I respect and my own 'intuition' tell me to be careful of Phase I studies. I realize they are testing safety first. I've worked hard to get here, my husband likens it to living in a glass house---I don't want to tip my health over unnessessarily.
I do alot of things for this cancer) but I pick the hills I fight on very carefully.
