Benedryl and Herceptin

For those of you that are currently receiving Herceptin....do you still take Benedryl and Tylenol before each treatment??? Is it okay to be taking benedryl everyday???....I asked my Onc and she says it's fine. I occasionally take it before bedtime to help me sleep and help my allergy problems. What are your thoughts???

I can't figure-out why you are still taking it. if you don't have a reaction after the first or second time with herceptin, you don't need it. If you were to have a reaction without it; it would happen fairly fast and they would administer it.

My thoughts?? The less crap you have in your system, the better. Just to save your liver if nothing else.
