how far out fromchemo and receiving herceptin

just wondering if it would be wise to try to get herceptin fot stage1 her2+++ now . I finished chemo in march of 2004 .Is anybody else in this same position? just don't know what to do.

I started hercpetin a year after Chemo. but I had a chest wall recurrance and that is why I had chemo. I think if you are her2 +++ I would definitely check into it !!!

I finished standard chem last August 2004 for stage 2 IDC with node involvelemt. Started herceptin in June of this year 2005. There was some discussion with my onc about whether or not I should go on it . She pretty much left it up to me but revealed that based on such positive results from the study that if it were her, she would go on it.
had my 5 th dose yesterday. I'm very glad I made the decision.
I would most definitely ask your onc about it and push to go on it.
