Hi Bonnie,
I had a few tiny small raised bumps on my reconstructed side of my breast. I showed it to my onc and she just said to watch it for a while and I did and it eventually went away. I hope the same for you. TC, K

I have a lot lof those little freckle red spots on various places over my body: trunk, legs, arms. I one time got shook up about a piece of tissue (skin colored) that showed up on the mastectomy scar line. My onc looked at it and said that he thought it was fine, but he knew I wouldn't rest until it was removed, so a surgeon did a "local" on it that same day.

The sugeon said, "I'm sure this is just scar tissue. Cancer would be hard, like cement." He was right.

So those little flat red things you see are most likely nothing.

Blessings to you, Barbara

THANKS
I feel better about them, I try not to think everything might be cancer but I also want to be proactive with my health !!!
I LOVE this board !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to make light of these red spots, but if they are permanent, they are probably the tattoo dots from your radiation treatments...I have them, but mine are dark brown/black and pass for moles...but when folks ask me if I have tattoos??? I proudly say, "yes", and keep 'em guessing where...smile..just a thought, hope it is not serious.--Gina
