MRI results

Mom's brain MRI results are stable. The new spot stayed 1cm so I think they can do gamma knife, and all the previously treated spots are stable. Thanks for all your great positive thoughts and prayers!!!!

I talked about putting her on hormone therapy and she is ER+/ PR-. The doctor said that people who are positive for both do better on them, is anyone in this situation on hormone therapy. If so what kind???

I thought ATAC showed er+/PR- did particularly well on Arimidex.

Hi! I am also ER+/PR- and will start Femara soon, however I am 32 yrs. old and will be having ovaries surgically removed to be at menopausal level for drug to work. My oncologist didn't particularly say anything about it not working because of PR status. I am also HER2++++, so will be starting Herceptin this week. Is your mother already receiving Herceptin infusions?
