I have a friend that was dx 2002. She had recurrence 2004 to a node by her clavicle. She was then put on Herceptin. Now she has mets to her spine. What combo should she be on now? What clinical trials would you suggest for her? Her onc told her that her BC was not bad enough to get into a trial, can you believe that? What are these dr's thinking!!!!!!

Hey Michele,
I'll search around. It's funny that all the trials want patients who are not "too sick" and then consider the doctor's comment ????

CNS mets are usually an exclusion criteria for trials but I'm sure there's something there.
