Seems like all I can find are docs who use cookie cutter approaches, never off protocol/off label. Yet, you folks find ways to get innovatrive approaches tailored to your situations. what ives? Any in Wisconsin/Chicago area?

I think it's hard to find innovative doctors you can trust for a lot of reasons--not least because the ones tapped into big research institutes depend on the clinical trial system, which means they can't go "off protocol" without there being real consequences.

That said, I think there are folks who are willing to be a little more experimental than others. I always read the interviews at breastcancerupdate.com and that gives a good sense of how people are practicing around the country...

George Sledge in Indiana always impresses as a real forward thinker...

Good luck,
Jeff

Try Keith Bloch. He is an MD who does a lot of alternative stuff and has published data. I think he is in Evanston.
