Diagnosed March 2002 - age 52
Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer
Stage II
1 tumor in each breast
Left breast tumor 2.5 cm right tumor 3.8 cm
tumors removed but margins were not clear
simple mastectomies were done
sentinel node biopsies came back with no node involvement
HER2/NEU +++
4 rounds AC 4 rounds taxol 33 radiation
finished in February 2003
Checkups every two months - hair growing in nicely
Am thankful for the ladies on this board and to Joe and Christine. I hope for good news for all of us in the future.
