Lyn: What is the name of the drug the trial is for. Is the trial closed? What Phase is it? I was taken off Herceptin because of heart problems which have corrected themselves. I also am taking Tamoxafin. I'm at stage 3, node positive and would like to try to prevent disease progression. I've been NED for the last year but feel like I'm living on borrowed time. Do you think this drug you are going to try may be helpful to me? I hate just sitting around waiting for the other shoe to drop, so to speak. Take Care, Linda

Hi there, I contacted GlaxoSmithKline direct by e-mail and they in turn had their Australian rep contact me. The only name I know the drug by so far is GSK572016. Kimberley Blackwell, M.D. assistant professor of oncology at Duke University. All you have to do is type in the description, GSK572016 in your search section and it will bring up heaps about the new drug. Hope this helps.
