Dear Mike,

You and your family are in our thoughts and in our prayers during this extremely difficult time. We knew of Cheryl's postings and considered her part of the "HER-2 Group family." I also want to thank you for your detailed posting and your sound advice to all patients and families to "stay vigilant" with respect to this disease.

In the book "Tuesdays With Morrie," Mitch Albon writes:

"As long as we can love each other, and remember the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. All the love you create is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on – in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here…Death ends a life, not a relationship.

Although I did not know Cheryl personally, I have no doubt that her "loving relationship" continues with you and your children ... in your hearts and in your memories.

With Deepest Care & Concern,

Paul C.
