Ron,
Many thanks for the role call. I agree with Joe. There are many men who utilize the site and support a HER-2 positive breast cancer patient. These men consist of husbands, sons, grandsons, brothers, etc.
I have participated in the HER-2 Support group on behalf of my mom since Winter 2002. My mom was diagnosed with HER-2 positive breast cancer (+3)in June 2002. Over that time, I have seen a definite increase in the particpation of men, especially over the past few months. I think it's super! Your "active" participation will certainly encourage more men to actively participate in the future.
All of the men and women who participate in the HER-2 Support Group should give special thanks to Joe and Christine for the substantial time and effort necessary to make this forum possible.
Warmest regards,
Paul
