Herceptin is a powder

The herceptin itself is in a powder form- 440mg. I once had to buy a whole box when I was abroad. They should sell herceptin in varous amounts. By the the way the dosage is based on weight (I get 120mg every week). I hate to say this but maybe they get to sell more this way.

Oh, I remember that now...I do know the dosage is calculated according to your weight, that is the reason they're so vigilant about weighing me each time I come in for infusions, and also to watch for any adverse weight related trends.
I do think the company should offer the option of individual doses, and maybe this is worth a call to Genentech? I suppose it's less expensive to package several doses together.

I wonder if that is why they talk you into getting it every three weeks instead of once a week. Not that I am complaining but it makes sense if it is multiple packets. I bet when you get it every three weeks you get one whole packet
