gemzar question

I just started on gemzar and xeloda yesterday. Today I have a fever to 100.8. I was also given aranesp. But I seem to recall that there are somw of us who did have fever for several dayd with Gemzar. Is this true? How long does it last?

I have had 3 gemzar treatments so far, but w/out combining with another chemo drug. 1st 2 times my stomach felt a little quesy and I didn't feel great, but I don't think I had a fever. Hopefully that won't continue to happen and the combo will be successful for you!
