Pain with Bone Mets???

Just wondering if anyone experienced pain in any joints, bones before diagnosis of bone mets. I have been having pain in my left shoulder, almost like a sprain feeling for 3 weeks...concerns me as it is on original side of BC and mets to nodes. I see the onc. and get my scans the 22nd...it seems every ache and pain causes me concern...I guess we are all walking on pins and needles as to not if it will reoccur, but when.

I can't answer your question about pain and bone mets, but I can relate to your feelings about a recurrence. It is hard not to let our minds go in that direction, but it is the journey we have been on that keeps us in tune to what our body is telling us. Hi there,
yes, there is pain with bone mets, but it's kind of hard to describe. My rule of thumb is any pain that lasts for more than a few weeks needs to be checked out.
