can wbr be used to shrink tumors b4 gamma if they are too big for gamma

In my mom's case the answer was yes. She had three tumors that were originally considered too large for gamma knife. She had wbr and the tumors shrank to within an acceptable margin. She had gamma knife on the tumors about two months after wbr. From our experience though I would do everything possible to get gamma knife without wbr if it is available.

how is your mom doing now after the gamma ?

Unfortunately not very well. The doctors contribute her decline to the high doses of wbr she had prior to gamma knife. WBR seems to have such detrimental effects to the brain.
