Hi Vi -
Don't know if you saw my story (Stephanie).
But, I have become a regular on this board and wish I had it when I was fighting my mets 2 years ago.
Been NED since July of 2002. I am getting my stamina back and getting close to my previous activity level. Still get wiped out from major visits from people, trips and just plain busy weeks.
Our wine society had a big event last night and I was "wine manager" for this event. A big job and I had to lift cases of wine and run bottles to the various serving stations. This was a big test for me.
Today I marched around the big international gem show and did some buying for my other little business. So, you see, I am pretty active and the "chemo brain" seems to have also alleviated.
I know in the back of my mind that mets can rear their ugly head again, but I just can't let this interfere with what I want to do.
Hope all is well with you!
Cheers!

Lolly

I like that heading, "Living Large", thanks Steph!
I had my 50th birthday last October, which I was so happy to celebrate, and my husband and I will celebrate our 30th anniversary this August. I'm taking classes at the community college, going into my third term, and am just happy to have a normal life. I know it can change at the drop of a hat, but also know that I can do whatever it takes to keep on, so we live every day as fully as possible, grateful for every one.
hugs, Lolly
