It's funny being called an ambassador. Anyway, Mel and I will be spending tomorrow at Denver's Day of Caring, staffing a table for our beloved web site. We're setting up a computer with the site already dialed into so anyone walking by can actually see all of this for themselves. I got brochures from both Genentech and Joe/Christine. And I'm very excited about the 5' x 2' banner I had made. It's white banner plastic (to be pinned to the cloth table draping) with three lines of copy. The first reads "HER2support.org" in fuschia (no pink available); the second reads "information and support for:" in teal; the third, also in teal reads " * HER2 pos * Brain mets * Stage IV breast cancer" Although this site obviously supports much more, I had to be succinct for space purposes. So after tomorrow, this banner will be available for use by any of you future ambassadors at your local events. We'll let you know how tomorrow goes.
