Hi All, just letting you know that I have an appointment with the Brisbane, Australia team next Wednesday for the new trial. Fingers crossed all will go well, ironically I am to start radiation AGAIN the next day. Just when I was beginning to feel all was coming to an end, my Angel did all this for me. I must say I do believe in FATE, now I want to find out if I also have Pagets, my GP thinks so, it has taken 6 years for this to come about, and my PAP smear came back normal, yipee!! I don't have to add a gynocologist to my list of people to fit into my busy medical calendar. Also I am off to see the Orothpaedics sitting for their exams at our big Prince Gharles Hospit, on Saturday morning, and that is because I am complicated, with my fractured shoulder, on the BC side of course, like I need them to tell me I am complicate, I am a specimen and for a good course I suppose. Soon they will have to write the Lyn Survival Manual, How to deal with BC (radical mastectomy, 16/16 nodes all positive and not hormone responsive)and also most likely to be Pagets, and again mets to the lymphs in the neck and on Herceptin of course, Heart Failure,(I am a patient at the Heart Transplant Unit, sounds impressive) Sjorgens (connective disease in the Lupus family so I have limited salava glands working plus all the aches and pains ), Fractured shoulder WITH avascula necrosis I might add, means no blood supply to the shoulder)all while trying to fit in a Breast reconstruction DEIP (not any old Tram Flap for me)I was also a specimen last year for the Plastic Surgeons exams at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Actually on the news here they are experimenting in growing breasts, the way I am going I will end up growing my own, wonder if we can call it organic reconstruction. Well ladies if you think you can't possibly go on any further, think of "Lyn's Motivation Survival Manual" and at 49, my youngest is a daughter at 14, I intend to get to 89 and still be on this site and planet, hopefully NED. Love Hugs and Prayers to you all, YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
