I see you have been given the link to Accuray already, that is great to hear there are some CyberKnife Centers close to you. There are not that many statewide to begin with!!
In my experience the screws or 'pins' used in the Stereotactic Radiosurgery (and Gamma Knife) can be painful. Placing them especially so, with the shots of lidocaine. The removal is also fairly painful, imo. I've had it done three times compared to two CyberKnife treatments.
I MUCH preferred the ease and length of stay of CK treatment. The face mask was a little intimidating and laying on table eventually hurt the back of my head. But. Nothing like the discomforts and all day affair of the SRS.
Good luck to you. I'm glad you had your MRI, but further scans may indicate they are not mets afterall. We can still hope afterall...
