Mary, thanks so much for your encouraging post. Thank God you had the sense to seek a second opinion. How could he have been so wrong???
Colleen, my sister had "too many to count"/"clusters of tumors". They were all pretty small 1 - 4 mm in size. She was most certainly symtomatic - blurred vision, slurred speech, headaches, difficulty walking. She had 5 WBR sessions and, though it took 3 months, her symptoms are ALL gone (some vision problems remain and may be permanent). Her tumors have shrunk and many have disappeared. Christine has mentioned a view times, as have sis's doctor, that it can take many months for the WBR to completely work - maybe 9 months. Good luck to her mother...she WILL improve.
