Brain MRI timing

I saw my onc on Mon the 13th, and asked for an brain MRI. I have one scheduled for Monday Sept 20th. My quandary is this...

I'm leaving on Tuesday the 21st. on a 2 week Hawaii cruise...Do I want to have these results right before I leave???

I'll either be really happy or bummed. I don't have any symptoms, just asked for it based on the information I got from this site.

Any input?

Esther, Do you get your results the same day? If not I would go and have a wonderful time and the answers you are looking for will be there when you get home.

If they give you the results and they are positive, I would still go and enjoy the heck out of it because when you come home, you will be refreshed and ready to fight another battle.

Are you having any symptoms? I know that doesn't mean anything. But I would go and love every minute of it. Wish I was going to Hawaii. Enjoy. k
