New pt. to Lupron

I am so worried. I started on Lupron two days ago and now I have a strong odor when I urinate. I called my oncologist and they said it could be the Lupron. Help. I am having a nervous breakdown here.

When I had a strong odor to my urine, it was a Unrinary Tract Infection (Bladder infection). Cipro was the drug they prescibed.

For some reason, most oncologists prefer a chemical thing like Lupron, over having the ovaries removed (oophorectomy). Personally, I wouod rather not take a hormone but remove the ovaries and take maybe tamoxofin. You do have options and I would ask about the ovaries.
