Hi Linda,

This is off the subject, but are you going to the luncheon next month? I think we talked and I hope you go so we can visit in person. I had my port removed this past Thursday and am interested in what's standard for follow-up care. Hope to see you there.

Hi Vickie: I'm planning on being there. I'm looking forward to meeting you in person (and all of the other ladies). As to follow up when I had my port removed....there was none that I was aware of. I had my plastic surgeon remove it at the same time he placed my implants so I guess if there had been any problem with it he would have noticed at my follow up appts. I always figured that once it was out it was out. That area is still tender to the touch a year later but not unbearable. See you soon! Take Care, Linda
