If there is one thing that is certain - it is that there are no guarantees. You are unique and what works for one may not work for another. I know your mom means well but only you know what makes you happy and that is a big part of "quality of life". So do what most daughters do to their mothers... listen and say thanks for the advice. Then go off and do whats best for you!
