Hi Everyone,
This morning (Sun.) I walked with thousands of others at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure here in Newport Beach, CA. On my back, in huge letters, was my sign: In memory of and In celebration of Her2+++ Women. I was walking for each and every one of you. I've never worn so much pink nor seen so much pink in one place. May we continue to enjoy the sun and breezes on our faces. Hugs, love and peace to each of you,
Vicki Z

I will be walking with and for all of you and all of my other her2+ sisters on Oct 16, the date of the OK City Race for the Cure. I agree about the pink. I never knew there was so much pink in the world but it kind of puts my own breast cancer in perspective. I'm two years post diagnosis with no recurrence and praying it stays this way. But in the meantime, like I tell anyone who wants to hear it, you have to live for today. Look at world, smell the flowers, walk in the rain, whatever it takes, because you may not be here tomorrow. And for God's sake, find the humor in life. Even cancer has it's funnier moments. Believe me I've lived them and ther are still good for a laugh. So all of you out there (and that includes me) hang in there and wear that pink proudly. WE EARNED IT!!!!!!
