I developed neuropathy and pain while on Taxol, and was put on Neurontin. The neuropathy mostly resolved within a year after finishing treatment, but on Navelbine have been only slightly bothered by some minor numbness and tingling in my fingertips. This is the second time on Navelbine for me, and the first time also experienced only minor neuropathy.
I guess everyone reacts to drugs differently, as a friend of mine can't tolerate Navelbine, yet has had Taxol or Taxotere several times and done well.
Hope your sister does well with Navelbine, it's done a good job for me.
