It's not necessary after the first couple times, if you know you don't have a reaction.

I ask for it for napping purposes. And my nurses say they'll keep giving it to me if I want it. Think of all the advantages - I came home after treatment Thursday and was in the yard and got a wasp sting - OUCH (thankfully non-lymph issue arm) and I was still full of benadryl so I didn't have to worry about it :) !

Hi JoJo, I get red spots on my legs so I don't know if it is an alergy or the fact that I have consumed so much of it and I look like a junky with the spots but here they wont give it without a anti-histamine, the Taxol that is.
